| This Week... He said he'd be back, and guess what? He is! Yup, it's Arnie Time. T-1000s, predators and economic girly men beware because the Austrian Oak is back in business. The new Empire - out now folks - is the Arniest issue ever, with our Carl Weathers, James Dyer, sent to lock biceps with the great man over two days of unprecedented access, news , anecdotes and Atlantean sword-swinging. Back in Blighty, meanwhile, I went off to reminisce with some Bond girls and have my noggin crushed by Jaws, while new Skyfall pics came to light and Tom Hardy decided to climb Everest . All in all a week of Shakespearean magnitude. As the great man would say: "To be or not to be? Not to be!" Phil de Semlyen Staff Writer, Empire | | |

| | | | | A rather swanky Crosskase Fusion laptop bag. Not only does snugly hold on to a laptop, iPad and assorted other goodies, it cal also be magically transformed from backpack, to shoulder bag to tote. It's like a Transformer - only with more pockets. | | | |

| | | | | Ten Things I Learnt From The Bond 50 Press Day You may have heard that the James Bond movies - all 22 of them - have arrived in one giant case of pure, Blu-ray 007ness; motored across Britain in the kind of crazed PR stunt that's worth its weight in valium. The convoy of Bond vehicles stopped at every James Bond location en route to London, from Scotland's Eilean Donan Castle (The World Is Not Enough) to Nene Valley (Octopussy). I was invited along to Day 5, the Stoke Park leg, to celebrate with three Bond girls and a certain toothy villain. Here's what I learnt along the way. | | | |

| | | The Empire Podcast #30 Two five-star movies are discussed on this week's Empire podcast, with Looper and Holy Motors both on our reviewing checklist, supported by the conversational talents of interviewees Liam Neeson (for Taken 2) and Elizabeth Olsen (for Liberal Arts). Elsewhere, the podcast team talk sneaking into movies underage and accidentally dressing up as Sickboy from Trainspotting. As you do. |
| | | Vampires Movie Poster Mashups This week's poster-mashing is of the undead variety. Highlights include 30 Days Of Fright Night, Schreck and Enemy Of Lestat. The Underworld Is Not Enough gets extra marks for the Bond crossover. |
| | | Infographic: Map Of London's Movie Crimespots Unlike New York, London has never fallen under the control of a masked maniac, been overrun by post-apocalyptic darkseekers or dealt with a wave of crazed Chitauri. It has had a lot of villains on its patch, though. With Welcome To The Punch unleashing another job-lot of crime lords in the direction of Canary Wharf, we've compiled a map of crime spots to visit/avoid like the plague. |
| | | Vote For The Best Horror Movie Characters It's time to face your worst fears and vote for the best horror movie characters. We want to know the heroes and villains who crawled under your skin, sent shivers up your spine and then burst out of your chest. Was it Norman Bates taking a shower in Psycho? Laurie fighting off Michael Myers? Or Randy talking scary movies in Scream? Let us know you five favourite below, and then go hide under your bed until the monsters go away... |
| | | Joseph Gordon-Levitt And Rian Johnson Talk Looper Joseph Gordon-Levitt, an actor with quality control set to 'full' who's never in a hurry to sell himself for silver, plays a hitman or 'Looper' in Rian Johnson's time-twisting new action thriller who does exactly that. The Brick pair reunite to deliver one of the most startling, cerebral sci-fis of 2012. Empire travelled five hours back in time - the interview was in New York - to get the lowdown on its origins, inspirations and unusual touches. |
| | | Instant Poll: Vote For Your Favourite Arnie Film! Arnold Schwarzenegger: bodybuilder, Mr. Universe, businessman, actor, Golden Globe winner, action hero, politician, Empire cover star. As movie institutions go, The Governator is one of the biggest (literally), making this poll of polls one of the trickiest we've ever asked you to take part in. Will Terminator 2: Judgment Day blow away the competition, or will diehard Commando fans win the day? Perhaps powerlifters will storm in with a Pumping Iron voting bloc or those closet Last Action Hero aficionados (we know you're out there) will make their presence felt - whatever the weather, take your time and choose wisely from the surprisingly long list below. | | | |

| | | | | Looper Intelligent science-fiction sometimes seems an endangered species - too much physics and there's a risk of creating something cold and remote, too many explosions and get lost in the multiplex. Looper isn't perfect, but it pulls off the full Wizard Of Oz: it has a brain, courage and a heart. | | | | Also Out | | | This week's video trailers and clips. Every week, our video player will update to show trailers and clips from the week's movie releases listed above. | | |

| | | | | The Cabin In The Woods Part Evil Dead, part The Truman Show, part Arthur Christmas... For horror hounds who love a larf, and those of us who always wondered exactly what that dry-ice stuff that rises out of the forest-floor moss is. A fun ride - but not quite a Scream. | | | | Also Out | | |
