This Week...
Do you know everything there is to know about Harry Potter? If the answer is "Hell yes!" then you are clearly a big fan and you'll want to get our Harry Potter Ultimate Movie Celebration with this month's issue (which also contains an oral history of the Battle of Hogwarts in the upcoming Deathly Hallows Part 2). If the answer is, "Not even!" you'll also want to get the new issue, because it will fill that Potter-shaped gap in your general knowledge. And for good measure we've got the latest on Super 8, Real Steel and more, and interviews with Rob Lowe and Vic Armstrong. Basically, you need this in your life. Over here on the site, we've been talking to the Hangover stars, blogging about vampires and bringing you a beginner's guide to The Hunger Games. And once we figure out how, we'll also be spoiling you with Ferrero Rocher delivered directly to your machine; it's just that we're still working on that.

    The Muppets Trailer Is Here!
Now this is clever, folks. Eschewing the usual flashy trailer and launch announcement, the team behind The Muppets have instead kicked off the promotion on the pic by releasing a stealthy little teaser trailer that at first appears to be for something entirely different – before revealing its true nature. And you can watch it after the click.

    Which Mythical Monsters Are Left?
I don't know if you've noticed, but True Blood season 3 comes out on DVD this week. That's good news if you're as keen on the adventures of the vampire Eric (and some other people) as we are, because Alan Ball's show is smart, well-written, terrifically sexy (but enough about Eric) and a great blend of horror, social commentary and comedy. But as season 3 introduces yet more supernatural creatures to the cast's ranks, I'm wondering what's next for the fast-burgeoning genre of the paranormal soap opera. And in particular, which supernatural beasties still have not had their virtue assaulted.

Exclusive Harry Potter Videos And Interviews
While we had the Potter cast for our Ultimate Movie Celebration photoshoot, we took a few extra moments and asked them what we can expect from Part 2 of Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows. Here are some of those videos, along with longer, more detailed text interviews on what they had to say. And don't worry: Jason Isaacs and Tom Felton are neither blond nor evil in real life.

  • Oliver Phelps On Deathly Hallows Part 2
  • Tom Felton On Deathly Hallows Part 2
  • Rupert Grint Talks Deathly Hallows Part Two

  • James Bond's Literary Afterlife
Ian Fleming's death in 1964 stopped the official James Bond canon at twelve novels and nine short stories. Obviously Bond's afterlife in film needs no introduction, but his further adventures on the printed page have been equally energetic, with several authors taking up the challenge of delivering his globe-trotting, megalomaniac-defeating, unlikely-monikered-woman-bedding exploits. With the latest, Jeffery Deaver's Carte Blanche, published today, here's a look at what came before - and an exclusive interview with Deaver about his work.

    The Hangover Part II Interviews
You might have thought, having barely survived one stag do in Vegas, that the Hangover crew would forever eschew any pre-marital rituals. But you would be wrong, because they're back in The Hangover Part II (out today), and are once more undone by drink. We talked to director Todd Phillips and his stars to get the lowdown on the summer's big comedy sequel...

Malcolm McDowell On A Clockwork Orange
It's been 40 years since Stanley Kubrick's exceptionally controversial masterpiece A Clockwork Orange arrived in cinemas, going on to shock, scare and fascinate millions of people across the world. Malcolm McDowell was its star, playing the charming but morally repugnant Alex DeLarge, acting in scenes that remain some of the most famous in cinema, let alone Kubrick's back catalogue. Talking to the man himself to celebrate the arrival of the anniversary boxset of Kubrick's work, we took along four stills from the movie for Malcolm to tell us about, and here is the expletive-filled result.

What The Heck Is The Hunger Games?
You may have noticed one of the sixteen trillion casting stories about The Hunger Games (the latest just yesterday) and wondered what in tarnation all the fuss is about. With EW covers and a certain amount of hype building even with shooting just underway, we thought we'd bring you a beginner's guide to a movie that could offer a Battle Royale-meets-Thunderdome-meets-Twilight mash-up for the ages. And yes, that might even be a good thing. Read on to find out why...

    The Ultimate Apes Picture Quiz
Wikipedia tells us that "an ape is any member of the biological superfamily Hominoidea" which includes chimpanzees, gorillas, orangutans, gibbons... but not monkeys. Which is annoying. The reason why it's annoying is that we came up with an ape-based picture quiz involving all these animals - and monkeys - to celebrate the cheeky, um, monkey that's appearing in the Hangover II this month. Hmm. So if you're willing to overlook our biological classification blunder, here is the quiz, and we hope you like it. Oook ook oook.

    The Hangover 2

According to Phillips, the 'Part II' in the title is a nod to the second Godfather, which matched the genius of its forerunner. Ironically, his own sequel offer is one you should refuse.
