| Slang, Strong and free lunches There may be volcanic ash in the skies and Bigotgate in the tabloids, but that can't stop Stephen Lang from popping in to Empire towers. We're told he kicked down the door of the plane he arrived on and just breathed the noxious fumes of Eyjafjallajokull as he stormed to the office. Alternatively, he might have taken a cab. Slang (as we now call him) wasn't the only special guest this week; we also had Mark Strong in for a webchat on Wednesday, and he regaled us with stories of his life as an on-screen ne'er-do-well. The best thing about these webchats? Free lunch. We always buy in a glorious spread of chocolate, sandwiches, crisps and other goodies and the healthy-eating stars never touch it. Except for Up's Bob Peterson and Pete Docter, that is – they ate pretty much all of it. Bastards. James Dyer Online Editor, Empire | | |

| | | Who Or What Is A Miley Cyrus? Miley Cyrus, previously best known for being draped in a sheet during a photoshoot that one time, is taking to mainstream films this week with The Last Song, the latest Nicholas Sparks adaptation. | | | | | Avatar It's been twelve years since Titanic, but the King of the World has returned with a flawed but fantastic tour de force that, taken on its merits as a film, especially in two dimensions, warrants four stars. However, if you can wrap a pair of 3D glasses round your peepers, this becomes a transcendent, full-on five-star experience that's the closest we'll ever come to setting foot on a strange new world.
